Good movies that I have Netflixed: Pan's Labryinth (why didn't I see this in the theaters- so good!), Apocalypto (so sad), A Guide To Recognizing Your Saints, Flyboys
Some Good Tunes: Sweet- Ballroom Blitz is a hilarious song, Valhalla by K-os (such a good cleaning the house song- which is compliment to me- I love cleaning), old school Missy Elliot- her first album was golden!, the new White Stripes sounds really promising as does the new Queens of the Stone Age single- Sick, Sick, Sick.
Some Good Thoughts: I am participating in Hula 70's postcard swap (I love me some swaps), I had dreams of being a pirate the other night and I kicked ass at sword fighting, the Ring of Fire is almost done! (party anyone?), I am so inspired by Banksy- I really want to take crappy thrift store paintings and put weird monsters and graffiti in them, I have so many good concerts to go to this summer- so far I have tickets to The Police, Tegan & Sara, Heart and the Bangles, and Queens of the Stone Age.
Some good food: I must confess that I am not humble about the ceviche I make- its kickass! Trader Joe's is just awesome- enough said.
Lauren and I at her graduation
Special thanks to Moe Moe- she made me this really cool banner seen above.
Yep, I'm still alive. I've been a bad blogger. You know you haven't written in awhile when your mom sends you threatening e-mails about when you are going to blog and you have been away so long and yet you don't know what to write. So what have I been up to? The obligatory, not much seems a little silly. Cause anyone who knows me, knows that I am always busy with something. So lets see, where to start.
Well I have: been to Coachella with Kin (my favorites were Rodrigo y Gabriela, Manu Chao, Rage Against the Machine, Arcade Fire- I could go on and on), my sister's graduation (yay Lauren!), Sedona with the family, taking pictures with fake mustaches (weirdly enough, I look just like my dad when I have a mustache on), my sister moving in with me, planning new artwork around the house, going to the swap meet, getting tickets to Tegan & Sara and Queens of the Stone Age, finally tiling the much neglected ring of fire, watching Shrek 3 and Pirates 3 (I must say I didn't really care for Shrek and I loved Pirates although critics didn't like either), been selling purses on Etsy and more shoes to come soon (It looks like Payless has some knock-off slip on Vans for cheap!).... I think thats it. Oh and can you believe that I have been blogging for three years!! Yep late April was our 3rd year in the blog world- so weird!
I want to write more this summer so hopefully I will avoid harassment from my mom. So keep checking back to see I have been doing.
