So, lately I have been noticing that most of the relationships that I have with people are with "takers". Yeah, you know these people- those who take, take, take and give nothing back. Sometimes all that is needed is kind word or some sort of acknowledgment. But for some reason this is just so hard to do. And this always strikes me funny, because I painstakenly think about others feelings and how I would like to be treated. I have always been a fixer, a people pleaser. But the times are changing and I am getting really tired of over-extending myself. And I just thought that this song by Go Set Go fit my crappy mood today. The funny thing is that this song's lyrics look really mean but its actually an upbeat melody- who doesn't like bitterness in disguise?
