Lauren with her neighborhoodie
Happy Birthday my sister! My sister turned 21 today and since she goes to NAU in Flagstaff, AZ, she can now legally go to a lumberjack bar. Not that Flagstaff has a lot of these bars, but the forrestry majors have to go somewhere right? I am going to see her this weekend and I'll let you know if we find some lumberjacks- info that I am sure will come in handy.
I was talking to Lauren last night and we realized that we are each other's monitors. I have a habit of saying things that could have been left unsaid and she has a habit of doing things that aren't really necessary (i.e the time when she pissed Micah off cause she yanked his ears when he was driving). We know each other so well that we can tell when we are about to do something questionable- me on the verbal level and her on the physical level. Good thing we have each other to keep us in check. Cause lord knows what would happen if I said everything on my mind.
Oh yeah, and if you are wondering "why the hell does it say astronauta on her sweatshirt?"- its from the cheesy movie Armegeddon. You know, the one where Bruce Willis saves the world from the asteroid. Anywayz, in one scene the guys go blow off some steam in a strip club and they tell the girls that they are astronauts. And the girl has a ridiculous accent and tells them "Bye Bye Astronauta"- and thats where it comes from. Lauren and I decided if we ever had a music company we would call it Bye Bye Astronauta Records (cause we are lame like that).

Mean Micah

Crazy Micah
I couldn't pick the picture that I liked the best. So everyone is treated to two Micah pictures. Micah's Birthday was actually on the 8th- and we have celebrated it twice- which I highly recommend. In fact, I think my brother Micah was the one in the family who invented birthday week cause he just couldn't get enough birthday goodness. So to you Micah- I salute you and raise my glass to the birthday celebrator du jour. Happy Birthday sucka!

Me and Lo (I'm in the background)
I was inspired by Andrea of Hula Seventy and her photo booth Friday. This is me and my sister just being silly. I had taken the day off from work and we decided to go to Knott's Berry Farm. We went on all of the rollercoasters at least three times, ate funnel cake (cause thats what you got to do) and ran around like little kids.
As kids, we didn't go to Disneyland as much as we went to Knott's Berry Farm. One, cause it was cheaper and Two, cause my dad loved it. It was usually a Father's Day outing. Where my sister and I and my cousins April, Emilie and Anthony-Ray and my uncle went. The last time we went with my dad, he went on all of the rides. He never went on all of the rides because he had epilepsy and they would mess with his head but dang the last time we went on everything. He voluntarily went on Boomerang and Ghost Rider and screamed with us all on Free Fall.

My Brother Andrew
Today is my brother Andrew's birthday. Happy Birthday, Andrew! My sister sang "Andy You're A Star" by the Killers instead of Happy Birthday. He is now 17 which is crazy because I remember when he was a fearless toddler who used to throw himself in the pool just because he thought it was fun (and yeah he couldn't even swim).
17 Random Things About Andrew:
1. He is the youngest child out of five
2. Andrew looks like his dad but has some of my mom's sarcastic mannerisms
3. When he was a baby we (all 4 older siblings) would put him in a bean bag and push him around the house
4. We have videos showing us treating him kinda like a live toy- (driving remote controled cars around him to see what he would do) Sidenote: maybe we were not so nice older siblings
5. All of the members of my family have saved him from the pool when he was a toddler
6. He is a speed reader
7. He speaks a language all his own (basically slurring and mumbling all his words together) that only Lauren fully understands
8. He is a wrestler
9. He is a cheerleader too
10. He can do flips like a mother
11. He is Irish and Mexican and for some reason he takes German in school
12. He drives a space mobile ok, ok its a Prius but I like space mobile better
13. He loves Albertson's chocolate chip cookies
14. His favorite actor is Christopher Walken just cause he's weird like that
15. He sees movies for free all the time cause his friend Azron gets him in
16. Some of his socks have big holes in them cause Bella my mom's dog finds them and chews them all up
17. Lauren and I have made him the poster child for Voz Clothing & Art- he is our walking billboard (cause he is ridiculously good looking)
