What's Your Man Got to Do With Me, I'm Not Trying to Hear that See...

K-Day is back!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those you who are scratching your heads in confusion, K-Day was an original all hip hop station that started in the early 80s. It boasted a simple format with the novel idea of playing breaking boudries hip hop (we are talking about the new wave era here).

Now it seems as though the station is back and now on FM radio. I am so happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not only does this station play new hip hop but it plays back in the dayz hits and songs that other radio stations have forgot about. I was listening this morning and I heard four tight songs in a row (a phenomenon in modern radio days): Slick Rick's Children's Story, Dr. Dre's Dre Day, and Ice Cube, Yo Yo Bonnie and Clyde, and Positve K's Gotta Man. Have I mentioned that I am so happy! Now I can change the channels back and forth from Power 106 (I am partial to Big Boy in the morning) to K-Day.

So if you are in the Southern California area turn the dial to 93.5....

Dang, that is so funny that you are excited about K-day. I just realized it was back on air last week and immediately thought about you. Craziness. Take care and have a great holiday. That's right more than ten days of Christmas is making me cranky.
