Retrospect For Life...

Thanksgiving always passes quickly and I feel like I never give it the respect that it deserves. I don't mean that I am in favor of the whole "the pilgrims and the indians sat down and shared a meal together" thing. Cause in reality the pilgrims were teeming with diseases and in retrospect maybe the Native Americans should have sent them a packing. But hindsight is twenty-twenty and for the most part I love Thanksgiving because its when family gets together (and of course left over cold apple pie- I like it better that way). This Thanksgiving week was fun- people came and went and we all (one day or the other) got to spend some much needed time together.
So I compiled a list of some things that I am thankful for this year:
1. Laughter with family
2. Watching Elf, Shrek 2, and other movies (dang we like movies)
3. My brothers and sister (and Moe Moe and Kira)
4. Fun places like Laguna beach and the Laker's games
5. Jazz and Bella
6. A brand new room
7. A better attitude this year
8. Many people's blogs (I may be obsessed)
9. New craft supplies
10. New hopes and dreams
11. Our plans for the genius idea of the "compound"
12. For the darkest brown hair color (lol)
13. The injections that help my mom breathe better
14. For this website (yay Gabriel)
15. The memories of my dad
These things are definitely not in order and I didn't put everything that I wanted to because whenever I go to write things down, its inevitable that things are ommitted by mistake. But its good enough...

I read in the paper something that I really like: "The best scenery is being surrounding by people you love". I think that's what this last weekend was about - the love we share and being happy to just be together - Love - Mom
