What You Lookin' at Ese, Don't You Know I'm Loco...

I was very ambitious this weekend. By Friday morning I had decided that I was going to paint my room. Big deal, right?- not for me because I think I have been watching the Home and Garden channel too much (so you know I thought I could do a whole room makeover in a day). I painted my bedroom a bold blueish-perriwinkle color called Seabury. And then I decided to do a mural on the wall above my closet. Its a very surreal image but then again I always do surreal paintings. Its of a woman, who kind of represents the sky or the infinite beyond or god if you want- whatever you'd rather. She is above purple mountains and then below are a cluster of buildings.

I'm really happy with my room- I need color in my life and the white walls were bringing me down. So now I have no excuse not to be inspired to do my artwork. Too bad I'm not quite done yet- I'm going to paint a brick wall with graffitti on it. You know how I do- I seem to make things more complicated than they have to be. But at least I am happy with the results. Hopefully I will be able to post a picture tommorow. For now I am going to get some much needed sleep....
