If This World Makes You Crazy, and You've Taken All You Can...

Ahhhh. I am so frustrated today. I have been trying to draw designs for the Conscious Peoples line of t-shirts, but my ideas always look better in my head. I have gone through a ream of paper at least and besides not being able to draw- now I am a tree killer. Hated It!!!! Sorry about all the ranting and raving but I have some really good ideas that I would wear as a consumer but the drawings look lame and so I don't even want to try to fix it. Yes, I am a big baby- because I bet that most people won't know the difference and still think its ok- but I am a perfectionist.

Here are a few ideas that I am toying with to put on the t-shirts:

1. A drawing of a human heart with the life line across it but instead of being labeled as life line, it is labeled as "bass line"

2. A vending machine that has the elements of hip hop for sale instead of junk food- possibly with the caption "Hip Hop to go"

3. A house made of speakers- the caption would read "The House That Hip Hop Made"

4. A woman holding up an orange with the caption "Consciously Grown"

5. A pinata with hip hop items falling out

6. A drawing of Carmen Miranda with the elements of hip hop in her turban

7. The four elements of hip hop with the caption - "Brave the Elements"

There are other ideas but as I was typing them, I relaized that they were just plain dumb.... Oh well..... Oh and to those of you who don't know what the elements of hip hop are. They are as follows: breaking (break dancing) characterized by adidas sneakers, Graffitti- spraycan, Mcing (mic), and Djing (turntable).

Let me know what you think about these t-shirt ideas. Do you guys like any idea more than another one?

I would really like to see a sandle with hip hop stuff on it and your saying "Beware of the, CHANKLA".

I like #2,4,6 the best, but all of them sound really cool. I saw the drawing of the carmen and it looked great!

Good luck!
