Oh Happy Day

| | Comments (1)

So, I finally unpacked all my boxes and cleaned out my room. lol.

Since the move to West Hollywood, I've been sickly and icky things have been happening to me, so I basically unpacked my clothes and ignored my boxes in denial.

well, finally, last night, i finished unpacking all my things and they are all in order.. except I still want a pretty desk, since I didn't like the desk I used to have and gave it to my room mate.. that desk wouldn't ahve fit in my room anyway.. I want a sort of vintage feel to my room..

So I'm much happier since my room looks nicer.. and I can finally sleep on the floor like the doctor ordered, since i slipped a disc in my spine.

And a client that my firm handles Publicity for (I handle the account, pitching, etc) made it to Oprah's Favorite things!!! yay! I worked really hard to make that happen, so I am really excited!

SPAM ME

I have so much Spam comments, I don't know what to do with them.
Given that I work in Public Relations and my job is to make people notice thigns and products and brand new soon to be celebs, I think spammers are evil.

I mean, what the hell? who reads junk mail and most importantly, why do youthink I'm going to buy your product after you annoy the hell out of me by giving me a million viruses on my computer through shitty emails that doesn't interest me.

If I wanted to buy Viagra, I know to go to a doctor.
and If I want bigger boobs, dude, I will go to victoria secrets and buy a god damn push up bra, why woudl i trust a source that tells me some pills the FDA hasn't approved of is going to grow my boobs over night?

I mean, spammers have the same target list as the Bush Administration does: feeding and growing on the ignorance and vulnerable part of people and giving false hopes.

People, like you don't trust spammers, I don't think it's a good idea to be trusting the administration that wants to privatise social security. I mean, just look at PG & E and how they fuck up people's electricity and bills etc... ask someone you know, one in 5 or 10 has a story abotu how the private or gas company has screwed them over... and no one can do anythign about it because in their area, only one gas or electricity company exists. So, people gets monopolised.

And now Bush is goign to spend the money we don't have to provatise something as important as social security? Why doesn't he just sell us all to corporations?

Winning on FEAR

Right before Kerry conceeded, i was on the phone with my friends, freaking out. What the hell? Why was this race so close? What doesn't middle America understand?

I don't get it. New York and Washington D.C, the people who suffered directly from the 9/11 attacks, voted vehemently for Kerry. but no, middle america, where most people didn't see ground zero close up, was all bush....

In my belief, Bush will take us back to the direction of back alley abortions, blatant discrimination againsts minorities, other religions besides Christianity, more Wars in countries that will help make Bush and corporate America richer, destroying the environment, and basically kissing good bye to women's rights.

Yes, sounds, extreme, isn't it? I was doing research for this blog, going to put the list of things that Bush has done that was detrimental to women's rights and the environment and I am sick of it because that research scared the hell out of me. I don't even want to read all these articles again... and Salon.com's criticism here is kind of extreme, but come on, people voted for Bush, who lost many jobs, caused deaths of innocent people and wants to ban abortion and refuse gay rights, so this article, can't be that extreme! Get a free day pass and read it all:

and this picture basically sums up my sentiments:
